Camp Kinder for Adults

RADD now offers Camp Kinder for Adults!

Camp Kinder will cater to Adults who vary significantly in their physical, social, and cognitive development. Camp focuses on new friends, positive experiences and lots of outdoor adventure. We take traditional camp activities and adapt them to meet the diverse needs of our participants.  Staff members facilitate peer interactions and model skills essential in friendship building. Participants will learn new skills and gain self-confidence.

Daily activities promote social and personal growth within a supportive environment. They feature outdoor games, arts & crafts, music, car washes, and socializing with friends. Camp is centrally located at Franksville Park, an ideal setting for outdoor games, nature hikes, arts & crafts, music, and water fun. Field trips support community integration and have included summer swimming, bowling, movies, skating, concerts, a visit to the Racine Zoo and much more!

This exciting 8 week day camp will run from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday (with the exception of July 4th) from June 19th to August 11th!

Camp Kinder is designed to increase skills and enhance independence, nutrition awareness, physical fitness, social skills and above all, help build memories of experiencing new things and meeting new people.

Camp Kinder makes summer an unforgettable experience for everyone involved!
